THE PENALTY OF BRIBERY.
A PRESIDENTIAL DECREE,

A Presidential decree imposes the death penalty on officials accepting a bribo to effect o niiscarriage of justice, Lesser bribery offences wijl entail banishment to unhealthy districts. The death penalty will be inflicted on official embezzler* of £500 and upwards. The Government prohibits native Christians from street. preaching, fearing the spread of treason by this means.
