Luke and Co., engineers, WeJJihgton.- Hβ tlien entered the Gorerjtmont service as Inspector .pf Machinery, whiph position he resigned » enter the service. o'f_ M<!psra J. J. ?«jven and Company, Napier. When tjafc fansiness was. merged with that of -Messrs S. Luke and Company, ho reJfcoved to Wellington as manager for raa new firm, which position ho occuPJed till his death.
