NORTH NEW BRIGHTON BURGESSES' ASSOCIATION.
The annual meeting of the North .tfew Brighton Uurgesscs , Association was held ot tho foet Office Store, Bowhill road, on Saturday evening. The president,' Mr Gilbert Burns, was "in th« chr.ir, and there was a good attendance of members. Coricspvndenco wae received from the town clerk, stating that various mt tters submitted .to the CounciJ, had been favourably considered, and would be attended to. It was decided to ask tho property owners on tho cast side of Tcnks street to give an assurance that they ■would plant their sections with sand binding grass if the Council undertook to removo the sand from Tonks street. The β-ocetcry gavo a brief report of the work of tho Association during tl:e past tweve ', and also presented the balance-sheet which was adopted. The following oincexs wero eleoted for the ensuing year:—President, Mr Gilbert Burns; vice-president, Mr Theo. Cox; secretary and tr a. urer, Mr E. A M. Leaver; auditor, Mr K. Lake; executive. Messrs G. Burna, Theo. Cos, E. I/ca.er, R. Lake, E. .T. Shuel, W. Pearcc, J. .Moore, and G. 1L : llichardson.
