The lleathcoto Val.'cy School Goniruitteo met on Friday evening , . Present: —ia.e33rs Collins, Salt, Wcstbroofee, Weir, McMillan, and Octßcn. The headmaster (Mr Gates) reported the roll number to by 13G, with an average attendance of 122.0. It was decided that in future the midday recess be induced to au hour and a quarter. Tbo treasurer reported a oshit balance of £2 55s 3d. The sum of XI Is was voted to tbe school sports fund from No. -2 account. Satisfactory tcports vrerc received from the Works and Visiting Comniittecs. It was. unanimously resolved to bold a scrica of musical and elocutionary rouipctitions in, September in iid of the school funds. Messrs Gates, Salt, Weir, Halton, and Querce were appointed a sub-committee to dr.-w up a competitions' programme.
