UNEMPLOYMENT IN VICTORIA.
MELBOURNE, June 5. A deputation, representing the unemployed, interviewed the Prime Minister, and stated that there were six thousand unemployed in Melbourne, Ballarat, and elsewhere.
Mr Cook said the existence of unemployment in a country rich in resources, and capable of supporting millions of people, simply meant that the system of organisation relating broadly to tho social system was wrong.
