CANTERBURY RUGBY LEAGUE.
The management committee of the Canterbury Rugby League met on Saturday evening, the following delegates being present:—Messis A. 1.-. Hooper (chairtmaii), H. F. Garrard, F. Monro (Addington), C. H. B. Toorc, L. F. Simpson,* rj. Buchanan ("Sydenham;, A. J. Harper (St. Albans). F. J. Stevenson, W. Movie (Linwood). H. Boyns (Federal), T. ii. Pike, and F. J. Harvey (City).
It was decided, on the recommend.iL'on of tlie sub-committee, "to hold over the rooms question. A letter v. :s received from the si«rctary of the Auckland Centre in resp'ct to a vi_it hero by the Auckland team, asking ii a guarantee could be ;iive:i. The secretary was iti-tructed to I'otii'y that tho rule -would be enforced that all team.-, receive -30 per cent, of tho takings.
The Wanganui Centre secretary wrote forwarding an invitation to Canterbury to visit th.c Northern Centre It was decided to notify the Wangamii Centre that no vi_it would lie m_dc to the North Island this Reason.
'Hie secretary notified that he had received a letter from Mr K. Pardoo, and that owing to an error it had not reached the committee at its last meeting. Mr Pardo- gave an explanation cf certain circumstances and asked that Hie disqualification imposed be refdnded. The application was approved.
A protest was received from the Federal third grade team, in reference to the Sydenham third having played a junior player. The t .j>rote_t wasjiphcfd and the game awarded to tho _e_ei_l Club. A letter received from the Junior representative committee in reference to the gronnti at St. Albans Park, wat> referred to the Linwocd Club for consideration. Mr J. F.
