Eiirlv after starting, Selwyn tound their feot. and Joe. taking a nice pass, fluked one-passed Butter held. Sydenham were not behind, however, tor with the whole team combining in a pretty movement operations woro transferred to tho Selwvn circle, and Cummin-, with a crashing shot, had put on the equaliser. Selwyn used their pace again early after resuming, and scored, thus winning by 2 goals to 1. Mr H. Mogndgo refereod.
ADDINGTON (3) v. U.R.C. (1). Addington set up an attack at the start, but tho U.R.C. backs, Jones m particular, were very safe* and prevented a score, Parton eventually relieving. After somo clever play by Parton, the ball was pa-sed to Napier, who hit across the circle to George, the latter finding tho net. mis rebuff stirred Addington to action, and after two comers against U.K..\/. Poters equalised the scores. Addington kept up the attack, and from a scramble in the circle Grammar tound tho net. Addington were on the attack tor some time, when Smith centred neatly to Grammar, who shot his second goal. Mr G. Morgan was Tcferec.
