Mr Laugcsen (chairman of vho committee) presided. It was decided to givo a Christy Minstrel entertainment at an early date, Messrs Shaw. Allan. Ross, Swcney, and Laugtsen lieing appointed to carry out tho programme. WAIAt". Mr 12. V.. Ayrton's mail bag, ono of those lost in the Lottery, was recovered at- tho confluence of the Lottery and Mason rivers. A careful sc:ux-li is being niiide for the remainder of the bag*.
