250 MEN ENTOMBED.

(By Cable.—Press Association.— Copyrijrht) BECKLEY (W. Va.), April 28. An explosion at the New River Colliery Company's miuo entombed 250 men at the 600-feet level. Rescue crews were promptly organised, and rescued two men who had been seriously injured. They were unable, however, to reach the others. Tho explosion was so severe as to be hoard at places miles distant.
