FIELD OPERATIONS INDULGED IN.
WEATHER. CONDITIONS AGAIN OMINOUS.
"(raou oca special nEroRTEB.) KOWAI CAMP, April 20. All tho men passed a very comloliable night, and had a good sleep. Tho weather has been very nne today, with a strong nor'-wester. After a magnificent sunset, however, there was an ominous change about 7 p.m., the wind veering into the southward, bringing up heavy clouds, and bomo heavy rain was falling. The men, however, are quite comfortable, all their bedding and clothing being quite dry. If the rain is at all heavy—and there is every indication of a wet night—tomorrow's field day will not be a very pleasant one.
