TINWALD.
A large number of the friends of Mr and Mrs F. C. Clothier met in the Tinwald Kail to bid thorn farewell. Mr T. Williams presented the gueste with a handsome silver t-ea service and an oak and silver tray suitably inscribed, and expressed the loss the district would sustain in Mr Clothier's removal. Mr J. Cow, on bohalf of tho Tinwald Swimming and Sports Club, Mr T. A. C. Pep.rce, on bohalf of the School Committee, and Messrs R. A. Pearso, W. Hopwood, and E, Brittenden. also spoke eulogistically of Mr and Mrs Clothier.
