DUNEDIN WOOL SALES.

(TRiSg .ASSOCIATION" TILKGRAM. J DUNEDIN, March 17. A supplementary wool sale was held this afternoon, when 1714 bales were offered. There was a representative gathering of buyers, and strong competition resulted, thero being a good demand throughout. Continental buyers took practically all tho seedy wool, while the local nulls competed well for all descriptions of pieces and locks. Yorkshire buyers secured the best of crossbrods, and the opinion was expressed, that several buyers must have had American orders, as 10, d was realised for 6 bales of very nice crossbred wool. Merinos wero inclined to bo a little slacker, but wore in good demand. The best prices were:— Halfbred to 12_d. Fine crossbred to lljd. Crossbred to 10, d. Super crossbred to 12Jd. Lambs' wool to ll_d. Three-quarterbred to lid. Merino to lid. Merino super to 13d. First pieces to 9_d. Locks to 6.d.
