QUEEN'S THEATRE

Large crowds of patrons attended the various sessions at the Queen's Theatre yesterday, when a new programme was presented. One of the principal films screened was a drama, "A King of Marksmen." The story told was that of a crack shot prisoner whose escape from gaol so alarmed th© authorities that they offered a substantia- reward j for his capture. Tho man gets away very successfully, and obtains a change of clothing. On his flight across the hills ho meets a little girl, the daughter of the sheriff, sent out to recapture him, and tho child gives him a coin with which tb buy food. He makes for a near-by inn to have a meal, but while there the sheriff arrives and recognises him. At that moment the little girl is observed to have fallen down a precipice, and the eecapeo rushes to her aid and after rescuing her gives himself up to the authorities. Another good drama shown was "The Other Woman." A married man comes under the spell of an. attractive actress, and neglects his home in consequence. By accident the actress and the -wife become acquainted, and aro soon great friends. The husband arrives home to see his wife, but before ho can notice that tho actress is thero also an alarm is raised, and it is found that the man's little ftirl has fallen into the water and is In danger of drowning. Tho actress jumps in and rescue? her, and not till then is sho recognised by the husband. Tho lady perceiving the difficulties in the situation takes her denarture. and the man returns to his wife. "Zepherin's Duel" was a most amusing comic dealing with a deadly duel which brings disaster only to the Reconds and the soeetators. Two special St. Patrick's Day films, "Rory O'Moore" and "An Exilo from Erin" were screened, and tho other supportinc rictures were 'Ton-ical Budget No. 126," "Motor Ride in) a Mountain" (coloured scenic).
