Two statutory hrst offenders tor drunkenness were each fined os. in default twenty-four hours imprisonment. Elizabeth Reid, charged with drunkenness and a breach of her prohibition order, was fined os and 10s on the respective charges. Daniel Burns was remanded untif Wednesday, in order that he might recover from the effects of his recent lapse from sobriety. Henry James Brown (Mr Cassidy) was remanded until to-day on throe charges of breaking his prohibition order. Percy Licord, for disorderly behaviour while drunk, was convicted, ordered to come up for sentence when called on, and prohibited. INDECENCY. William Absolum and Daisy Clark, charged with committing a grossly indecent act in a public place, to wit, St. Asaph street, were eacn sentenced to fourteen days' hard labour. BICYCLE THIEVES. David Colo and William Barkworth. were each lined 40s, in default one month's imprisonment, on a charge that on March 14>:h they did steal a bicycle, valued 1 at £2. the property of some person unknovn. DRINK AND COMPLICATIONS. Robert Murray was fined 10s for being disorderly while drunk, 20s for • resisting the police, convicted for assaulting Elizabeth Reid. and convicted and ordered to pay 6d in respect of damages to Constable ODea s helmet and trousers.
