f IDLE AND DISORDERLY. Alan McDonald appeared on remand charged- with being an idle and disorderly person, having insufficient means of suport. • ' "I suppose," said the Magistrate, "you are sober and in your right mind now." Accused' was convicted and diecharged, and advised to go into the country and" work. "They cannot mako a howl about your going there," added the Magistrate, the only thing against the accused being that he disliked work. REMANDED. No home has yet been , found for Joseph Mcllroy, who was remanded for another week on a charge of being idle and disorderly. ANOTHER CHANCE. Arthur Edward Byron, charged with a breach of his prohibition order, was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon. ■ To theaccused's wife, th© Magistrate said: If ho does anything that causes unhappiness to you or your children, ifhe so ranch as tastes a tJroo of liquor, you tell the police, and I'll send him up.for two years."
