WIRELESS OPERATOR'S AFFLICTION. (By Cable.—Proes Association.—Copyright) NEWCASTLE. March 14. Dr. Mawson states that Stanley Jeffreys, found wandering in the bush in Victoria, was one of his party, and waa left ashore ai Commonwealth Bay to work the wireless apparatus. His health failed and his mental condition 6howed eigns op weakness, and he began to despatch extraordinary messages. He was relieved of hie wireless duties by Dr. McLean, who spared no paine to. afford him relief. He appeared to recover, and when he landed at Adelaide seemed quite normal. He was paid off, and intended returning to his home at Toowoomba.
