ACCUSERS TO ESTABLISH THEIR CASE.

(By Cable.—Pres« Association—Copyriirht.) /LONDON, March 13. The Committee set yfp by the House of Lords to enquire into the Marconi transactions of Lord Murray, of'Elibank, ex-Chief Liberal- Whip, has opened its enquiry.

Replying to counsel's query as to ■whether it would not be better to hear Lord Murray's statement first, Lord HaUbury, said it would be quite ; outrageous to ask Lord 3lurray k> j make a statement. It was for his accusers to establish their case.

The committee did not give any direction about the course counsel should take.
