URBAN. A match was played at Hagley Park on Thursday, between the- Veterans and a team of the City and Suburban Club. The latter batting first made 273 (Beer 57. retired, Watson 01, retired, Felton juhr.. 44 not out. Winter 42 not out, Dann 23. Britten 18, Graramer 10). Veterans made 144 for six wickets CRattray 44. Bascand 21 not out. Lawrence 19, MeXae 15 not out). Cocks. Winter, and Watson for the City and Suburban, and Bascand, Lawrence. Prebble. and Itattray, took wickets. The game ended in a draw.
