Sydenham batted first.against Isling-ton-Hornby, and made 206 (Cusworth 50, Grammer 20, Burton 20, Sheridan 10, Pascoe To not out, Hutchings 12), Islington and Hornby had made 4<5 for 4 wickets at call of time (Walker 14. Watson 10.).
