ALTERATIONS IN INTERCOLONIAL SERVICE.
Con&oqnent upon the withdrawal of the Maheno from tho Sydney-Auckland eerrice in order that the vessel may undergo a complete overhaul at Port Chalmers, eome> important re-arransementa have been made re the intercolonial service. Tho . Manuka,due at Sydney on the 7th April, from Wellington, will " leave the New South Wa!« port on the 15th April for Auckland, in place of the Maheno, and will remain in the *r> vico until the turbine eteamer resumes. Th« Maheno, due at Sydney from Auckland on Friday, 11th April, will leave tho nest day for Wellington direct, and thence to Port Chalmers, where ehe will lay up. The Maitai, due at Wellington on Tuesday, 14th - April, will sail the same day for Melbourne, via the usual ports (leave Dunedin Ifith . April), and on return to Wellington on" Bta May will tranship to the Willpchre for Sydney. The Willochra will leave Sydney on Saturday. 2nd May, for Wellington only. *nd will tranship southern cargo and paasenpere and return to New South Wales the foi:o*- ; ing Friday.
