MR MASSEY APPEALED TO.
SYDNEY, TMarch 5. Representations have been mado to Mr Massey by the Presbyterian Missions Board of Australia, asking the Dominion to use its influence in supporting tho protest to Mr Harcourt regarding the New Hebrides. Referring to the cabled suggestion that Australia should acquire the French rights in the New Hebrides by purchase, Mr Glynn said that the Commonwealth was prepared to meet any opportunity of settling the question on linos honourable to the two nations concerned, whether it involved pecuniary or other methods of adjustment.
