Tho Shaw, Savill, and Albion liner Waimana is due at Wellington from Whangarei to complete Homeward loading on Monday nest. She is to leave the Northern port, for London on Thursday, the 12'.h inst. The barque Daniel, which was at Lytte'ton recently with a cargo of hardwood from Australia, ha- been fixed to load at Clarence river for Auckland. From the Northern port the .vessel will roturn to Sydney with timber. It is reported that the new steamer Batsford has been chartered to load generr.l cargo at Montreal for AustraJian and Now Zealand ports.

Tho barqiic Louisa Craig has beon chartered to load salt at Ed.thbursj for New ZeaJand.

Mr C. Lc Govs has signed off the Kittawa as third engineer, and his position has beon filled by Mr W. Marshall., late of tho Mapour:_w.

Mr N. Salmon is now chief engineer on the Wakatu, in place of Mr W. Baird. The Wakatu, which is at present on the Lyttelton patent clip, being cleaned and painted, will be taken off to-day, and will eail this evening for Kaikoura,

The Kaiapoi finished discharge of the Lvttelton portion of her cargo from Edithburg and Hobart last night, and sailed for Napier and Wellington to comolete.
