In connexion witu the rural workers' strike, a body of unionists raided a farm at W r agga Wagga, and compelled a number of non-unionists to leave work. Tney then marched them to the town.

A strong force of farmers was enrolled and visited the unionists' camp. They rescued the captives, and escorted them back to work.
