THE FALL OF ORAKAU.
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) HAMILTON, March 4. The Hon. Dr. Pomare has sigmiied his-intention of being present at tho jubilee celebrations of tho fall of Orakau, which ended tho Maori war in the Waikato, and states that if the restrictions preventing Natives travelling are removed, he has not the slightest doubt that the occasion will be marked by one oi tho biggest Native gatherings ever held in New Zealand. Every local body in the "Waikato has signified its intention of being represented at the celebrations. Generals lan Hamilton and Godlev will probably be present, and it is expected that 3000 mounted troops will be on parade.
