BOYS' HIGH SCHOOL PAST AND PRESENT MATCHES.
Tho following teams will represent the Old Boys against the School, at Hagley Park, on "Wednesday, commencing at 1U.30 a.m.:—No. 1 tv>am — Booth, L. CaygiH, Crawshaw, Donnelly, Erans, D. C. Gardiner, Gurnsey. Hammond, Moor, T. Reese, Willsteod. No. 2 team —Birdling, Crompton, H. Hickmott, A. Deans, Lnttrell, Mackay, Lawrence, Ponder, Quartcrmain, lledpath (captain), Dr. Sinclair, Warner. Afternoon tea will be provided, and all Old Boys and friends are invited. On Saturday last a cricket match was played at Tai Tapu, between Lincoln ColloßO and tho local team, and resulted in a win for the visitors by 58 runs. Tho scores were:—Lincoln College, 122 (Beale 33. Stitt 18, Steadman 16. Lamer 12). Tai Tapu, 64 (Taylor 2-1). For College, Beale took two wickets for 4 j Lamer, 2 for 4; and Cowper 3 for 10. For Tai Tapu. "Walls took 5 for 12, and Andrews." 2 for 13. Tho Tai Tapu ladies provided afternoon tea. A cricket match was nlayed on Saturday between Green's Club and Cooper and Pryce. the former winning by 139 runs. J. Bourne 91, and J. Berkstone 95, battod best for the winners, and "Donaldson 25, and Dickey 21, for tho losers. Green's scored 226, and Cooper and Pryce -17.
