Tho Linwood Amateur Swimming Club continued its weekly club races on Friday evening with a 25y__8 race, theYe being eighteen entries. Results:— First heat: D. F. Coulter Ist, C. Johnston and H. Bowlker, dead heat, 2nd. E. Pulley also started. Second heat: W. Jones Ist.* E. Spencer 2nd. A. V. Whit .a and H. R. Matthews also started. Third heat: R, T. Coulter Ist, C. Orchard 2nd. A. J. Flanagan and S. A. Smith also etartcd. Final: R. T. O-ulter Ist, D. Coulter 2nd. C. Orchard, W. Jones, C. Johnston, and E. Spencer also started. Entries for the Club Carnival, which is to bo held"" on March 7th, close on March 2nd, with the exception of the 100 yds, which close on February 28th.
