A verdict ol wilful murder against Frederick Houghton for ehooting deftd his father And younger, brother ab Wkatton, Nottinghamshire, was returned at the inquest on the bodies. The evidence showed that prisoner, Who Was an insurance agent, held insurances on his brother's life . for _14,750. A doctor warned the parents in 1913 that accused was suffering from epilepsy, and that weapons ought to be kept out Of his reach* After shooting his father, Houghton deliberately reloaded and shot his brother.
