LAUNCH OF A BIG OIL VESSEL. Last month, Messrs William Doxford and & w at<:d v a ld for themselves 15,200 tons dead-weight— by far the largest been built to the order of the Eagle Oil Transport Company, Ltd., of London, and she has a length of 540 ft, a breadth of __*ft, nnd a depth of 3-lft, her draught being 26ft. fof? ZSu** 1 hi * foUr b ? i,ers of 3in by 12ft w-th. a pressure of 2201b. At the launching ceremony there were present Sir Theodore and Lady Doxford, Mr J. Purdy (director of the Earfe Oil Tr-J™-Slr?B pany ' Ltd) ' K23 iff SSS (MessTs Barnngson and Sons, London), Mr Bamnger (who designed the vessel) Mr Jamos Marr, Mr R. P. Doxford, Mr C. D Doxford, Mr A. E. Doxford, Mr William poxford..Mr Charles Doxford, Mr A OS ley and Mr Theodore Hcdley. Mrs fanner performed tho ceremony of naming the --cssel San Jeronimo.
