Tho candidates for tho Poplar byelection will be:—Messrs Clark, Unionist; Yeo (recently Mayor), Liberal; Jones, Labour.
Mr Scurr, chairman of the London Dockers' Union, will opposo Mr Masterman.
Tho National Insurance Act will bo prominent in the Bethnal Green byelection.
Mr Masterman has aunounced a scheme to deal with tho grievances of casual labourers.
Major Wilson, the Unionist candidate, proposes a drastic amendment of the Act.
