SHORTAGE OF LABOUR IN SOUTH CANTERBURY.
(sfeciai, TO "titi. muss.")
TIMARU, February 16. There is a marked scarcity of farm hands in South Canterbury at the present time, and harvesting operations are being carried on under the handicap of a dearth of labour. Between the labour market and rain, farmers are experiencing a very anxious time this season.
