My Glove .and Jacobite ran fivo furlongs in linin" 7eec, ■ und Ogier beat Afton Loch over fire furlongs in lmin A 4-sth eeo, and walked much sounder aftor the gallop than he did on the. previous morning. , Busso and the Champagne Stakes colt, Roiunaniu, 'were /both too good : for Czar Kolohol and Larkspur over five furlongs run in lmin Geec. Rongahero ran down lalf a mile in 52 2-sth mc, and. Parable, Gap on, and Aphaea broke \iniy from the mile post, with, the firet-named Raoning two or more lengths, advantage. The trio came along to the" straight, "where Aphaea dropped out, and Parable finished in front of Uapon in lmin *5 ■I-Stheec. They ran. the-first half mile in 53 3-sth eec, and Gapon was coming. on towards tho finish. Moonglow worked on a lead .and Jack Aahore, Simon Pure, .tore Gold, Tommy, and one or tiro others did unimportant, work. Quirinus, ■who went lame .after working on the previoue day, cantered a couple of circuits. He is a doubtful starter at tho Meeting.
