The Stock Committee of the Legislative Council met to-day to consider th© Stallions Bill, but in view of representations received from all parts of tho Dominion, it was decided to postpone the further consideration of th© _.iU for a fortnight, in order to give thos© interested an opportunity to formulate their views and submit evidence upon the measure.
