RESOLUTION BY EMPLOYERS' FEDERATION.
(press association telegram:) •WELLINGTON, October.29. At the Employers' Federation Conference a. resolution- was passed urging the employers affected, by the Wellington waterside workers' strike not on any account to meet any organisation in conference unless it is prepared to . give a definite guarantee- that it will register tinder the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, and in th© event of an agreement being arrived at, steps be taken to have it made into an Arbitration Court award. • The Conference assures the employers- affected that the Federation is prepared to render every assistance in its power.
