A CANADIAN PROPOSAL.

The Canadian Council of Agriculture is sending a delegation to Ottawa to Urge the increase of British preference to fifty per cent., with a. gradual increase to free trade in fivo years. It also urges free interchange of agricultural and animal products with tho United States, and the placing of other foodstuffs, agricultural implements, and lumber 6ft tho free list.
