-6 'WELCOMED AT SYDNEY.' A HAPPY SENTIMENT. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received. September 2nd, 9 p.m.) SYDNEY, September 2. The British. Parliamentary Party was accorded a weloomo and a civic luncheon in the Town HaJl. The Lord Mayor, in concluding hia speech, said:—"Wo are welcoming directors from the head office of John Bull and C 0.," a sentiment whioh was echoed by other speeches, and provoked cheering when Lord Sheffield declared that visitors and hosts alike wero all shareholders in the company, -which the Lord Mayor had omitted to describo as "limited."
