BRITISH OLYMPIC FUND.

LONDON, September 1., Mr Sullivan, secretary of the American Olympic Committee, in an. interview, . said that if the British Olympic Fund was used to take men systematically from employment and make it woith their while to go into training for the next Olympiad, it would bo flagrant professionalism. America would not tolerafo such a thing, and would refuse to compete if it were allowed. (Received September 2nd, 10.5 p.m.) LONDON, September 2. Tho Olympic fuiyl authorities affirm that nobody will withdraw from their employment. Tho fund will bo devoted to providing training facilities and expert advice, and tho strictest amateurism will be maintained.
