McDonnell, of Granity (Westport)', for having published,"' on or about July 30th, 1913, a defamatory liber concerning the applicant in the Christchurch "Weekly Press" newspaper. The libel is alleged to be contained in a letter written by the said P. JT. McDonnell in regard to trotting events at Greymouth.
