TARANAKI OIL.
(mKRS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) ' NEW PLYMOUTH, August 30. A brisk demand has arisen for tho Taranaki oil wells refinery products. Consignments have been sent to Auckland and Christchurch, and local merchants havo been supplied. Fuel oil Ss also being sent away as fast as it is produced and kerosene, lubricating oil, and wax, are expected to bo placed on tho market next week. Good progress Ls being mado with drilling by the various companies. Taranaki Oil Wells shares are in demand, 300 being transferred this week at eighteen .shillings.
