GUN CLUBS.
The' Amberiey Gun Club held its annual sparrow championship on Saturday. Tho conditions were: —Seven birds from each of tho marks, 18, 20, ond 23 yards. There were ten members competing, and despite the strong and cold easterly wind, good shooting was recorded. L. W-rnall and Vf. Parsons succeeded in shooting 10 birds each, and on shooting eff W. Parsons won on the eiith bird. F. G. Lewton was third, and J. Moofcett fourth. ILr F. S. Adams acted as refcroa.
