A CENTURY-MAKER. (By Cable.—Frew Association-—Copyright.) LONDON, August -a\ Playing for Yorkshire against Suaaex, Hirst made I(HS not out. Tho seventh annual mooting of tho Woolston Cricket Club was held recently, when Mr T. W. I. Round, vicepresident, presided over* a largo attendance of members. The reports and balance-sheet, which showed a substantial credit balance, were received and adopted. Four new members were elected, and the chairman offered a bat to be presented to the most improved player during the season. The following officers were elected for tho season: —Patron, The Mayor, Mr J. J. Graham; president. Rev. W. W, Laycock; vice-presidents, Messrs (j. Laurenson, M.P., T. Round, and J. Btigg; club captain, Mr Round; vicecantain, Mr A. C. Taylor: secretary and delegate Mr C. D. Wykes; treasurer, Mr H. Pennells; auditors, Messrs VV. ! Leighton and J. Bugg; custodian, Mr B. Wykes.
