. 1 ; __ The forty-seventh annual general meeting of the Union Rowing Club will be held at the Boathouse on Monday nest, at 8 p.m. Children visiting Wainoni Park during the school holidays will be able to see the young wallaby peeping out of its mother's pouch. There is also a beautiful collection of Persian cats on view. At the King's Theatro on Saturday next a concert will be given, at which Herr R. C. Zimmermann, Mr R. Clarke, and Mr W. Densem's pupils will perform.
