DEMONSTRATION FORBIDDEN.
DUBLIN TRAMWAY STRIKE. (By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received August 31st, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, August 30. The Chief Divisional Magistrate at Dublin has forbidden by proclamation the trainwayraen _ demonstration, in O'Connell street to-morrow, on the ground that it is seditious. Mr Parkin, leader of tho Transport Union, who has been remanded on bail with three others, declares that he w go to the demonstration dead or alive. Tho London Trades Council has telegraphed to Mr Birrell, Secretary for Ireland, strongly condemning tho "persecution" of Irish Labour leaders.
