;—ft (PRESS ASSOCIATION' TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, August 30. At the Supreme Court a decree nisi in divorce wus Granted William Bowden Stephens, formerly •of Dargavillo, against Eliza Ann Stephens, ou the ground of misconduct with Benjamin Emrys Williams. Tho Supremo Court has concluded the hearing of tho Onehunga cases arising out of fraud on the Union Company involving a substantial sum •by means of fictitious pay sheets, William Saunders, Wm. Owens, Richard Tyrrell, being charged with conspiracy, falsification, and forgery. Saunders was sentenced to 3 years' imprisonment and Owens and Tyrrell to*" one : year each. • Henry Lloyd Davis, ; charged with false pretences in con- | nection with the same offence, was j sentenced to six months' imprisonment.
