FURIOUS DRIVING. o (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) DANNEVIRKE, August 29. While attempting on behalf of his employers, on July 31st. to break the motor-car record from Napier to Wellington. Albert Edward Russell was stopped for furious driving. He travelled through Dannevirke at about 40 miles an hour. To-day ho was fined £5 by Mr McCarthy, S.M., in default a month's imprisonment.
