THE PANAMA EXPOSITION.
(SI'ECJAI, TO "THE PRESS.")
WELLINGTON, August 29. In the House this afternoon. Mr G. W. Russell asked the Prime Minister what steps the Government proposed to take to have the Dominion represented at the Panama Canal Exposition. The opening of this great highway, Mr Russell said, would have a great effect ou the trade between the Home Country and the Dominion, and he had no doubt that the Government had been considering the question.
In rt'ph* the Prime Minister said that the matter was still under consideration, but no definite decision had yet been arrived at.
