INTER-SCHOOL GAME.
The Timaru and Christchurch Marist ■ J Brothers' schools' teams tried eon- ' elusions at Lancaster Park on Saiurdav I morning, and after a highly interesting gamo the visitors won oy 14 points io iS. Lyr.ch, a brother to the South Island" representative, at full Iwck, played a great game tor tho Timaru boys, who were much heavier than their opponents. For tho winners Courtney (2) and King scored tries, one of which Ancland converted, while Hay potted a goal from a mark. For the local team McCormack scored a try and kicked a penalty goal. Mr Garton was referee.
