I HEREBY give notice that the ChrUtchurch Tramway Board propoace to RAISE a SPECIAL LOAN for tho purpoeo of the undertaking hereunder mentioned:— (1) The particular purpoeo for which the Loan is required is the construction and equipment of an Electric Tramway ' commencing from the junction of' tiio pree-ent Opawa tramway line at the corner of Waltham road and Wordsworth street, thenco by way of Vt'altham road, Langdown ntroet and Hilk road to the foot of tho HUle at White's road, n dictanco of 144 chains, together with a proportionate chare of Power Plant, Rolling Stock, Connecting Track*, and other central assets. (2) The sum proposed to be borrowed for euch purpoeo is £15,000. (3) The propoeed eecurity for the Loan will be the tramway laid along tho route above mentioned and the revenues arising therefrom, and a Special Rate over tho St. Martin's Tramway Special Rating Area to cover Interest and Sinking Fund which will b<> made and levied for that purpose. Provision for re-payment will be made by the creation of a Sinking Fund at the rate of Ten Shillings per centum per annum. (I) It is proposed to pay out of tho Loan (a) Tho coet of raising the earoc. (b) Interest while eny work comprising the undertaking authorised is under construction; and (c) All preliminary expcns&a inenrrtd in connection with end incidental to the above undertaking. ADDITIONAL RATING POWERS.
