This morning the big steamer "Willochra, ranning under charter to tho Union 6team Ship Company, will arrive at Lyttelton from Dunedin under th« command of Captain B. H Neville. Th« Willochra, which is a n«w. etramer of 7786 tone, owned by the Adelaide Steam Ship Company, has been chartered by the Union Company, with the right of purchaee. She wae built by W. Beardrnore and Sons, Ltd., of Dalmuir, Glasgow, and only arrived from the Clyde a few weeks ago. s p e will leave Lyttelton to-day on arrival of the 4r R,m. train, for Sydney, via Wellinston.

The Xairnshire. originally intended to leave Lor.don on tho Gth May for Australia, will not get away before the 20th May, while the Suffolk, timed to sail on the 21et May from Liverpool for Xcw Zμland porta, will not get awsy before the 31t,t May. Advice hae been received to ilie effect that the Kent eailed from Liverpool on Saturday last for Lyttolton, via Durban, Hobart, Auckland, and Wellington. She in duo at the northern port about the 3rd July, and at Lytie'.ton about July 14th. The New Zealand Shipping Company has arranged for the Federal liner Ikrvon to leave Montreal about the. 00th met. for Melbourne, Sydney. Auckland, Wellington, Lyttclton, and Uunedin. She will be followed by the Matatua on Jun« 13th. The tramp steamer Livingstonia hae been chartered to load ooal at Newcastle for Java at V7e p«r ton, eaid to be tho highest freight for that business for many ycare past. Th-2 German barkue Martha Bockhahn, which recently took a, load oi ooal from Westport to Mntupi, South Sea Islands, in on her way to Sydney Heads for jordcre. She will bo ordered back to Westport to load another cargo for the island port.
