A jumble sal© in aid of Prohibition funds will be held in the Foresters' Hall this afternoon.
A meeting of all interested in retail trading will be fceld in tho Chamber of Commerce to-morrow at 8 p.m., to consider the best means of popularising Friday and minimising the effect of the change of holiday.
A social and athletic evening will he given at .Mr F. A. Horrribrook's Physical Culture Institute to the sailors of H.M.S. Pyramus this evening at 8 o'clock.
