HERR CARL SAUER'S RECITAL.
Complete arrangements are being made for the farewell musical recital which is to be given by Herr Carl Saver, under the auspices of the Competitions Society, in the King's Theatre on Tuesday evening. Herr Saver was the musical judge at the recent competitions, and as he is remaining in Christchiirch until next week, musiclovers will have this opportunity of bearing work by the man who has been judging and advising performers. Herr Saver will bo supported by a number of local artists, and an entertaining programme of musical and vocal items is being arranged. Many of the items given will be Herr Sanor's compositions. This will 'be Miss Nellie Smith's last public appearance Jiere for some time.
